I sipped my bottle of water. Dam.n, it was hot. I turned over to my longtime childhood friend and smiled. It was a great day to be alive.

"How about we hop back on that bike of yours and head the coast?"

"I'd like that," he smiled.

"Look at us," I scoffed and leaned back into my chair a bit more. "Two old farts acting like a few teenagers..."

He chuckled. "Well, it's a great day to be alive, ain't it?"
