Benvolio has many characteristics. He is known as the clear-thinking, reliable, peace- loving ,caring,respectful, trustworthy and responsible young man but will fight if he is pushed to far. At the beginning of Romeo and Juliet Benvolio was a little trouble minded young man.

Tybalt Capulet is Juliet's cousin. He is extremely feisty and enjoys the conflict between the Montagues and his family. He is strong-willed, argumentative, passionate and loyal.

Mercutio was a loyal best friend to the death. He was witty, funny, hotheaded, and perhaps even a bit crude. Romeo was a romantic, while Mercutio did not believe in the idea of true love. It was his loyalty that killed him in the end
