1. I think that certain animals can understand humans. Lets say someone had a dog for 10 years and they are very close to each other, I think that the dog can really understand the owner. It just depends on how you treat them and if you are close to them.

2. Pets can help you be more social, and they get you outdoors for more exercise, which can help reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as reduce feelings of loneliness or depression.
