-Florida is doing enough to protect people against distracted driving. The law they have put in place makes typing on any mobile device like emailing, texting or note taking is now treated as a primary offense. An officer can now stop drivers if they suspect them of doing anything of that sort. First time offenders will face a $30 fine and second time offenders will receive a $60 fine plus three drivers license points.
