What to write about: You will create an original post of five (or more) sentences discussing the value of narratives. You may discuss one or more examples of writing or video footage that has provided insight into an emotional event. The writing could be a well-
known autobiography (such as The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass) or something known to anthropologists or even your
own family members (such as a diary or journal from a relative). Video footage could be from a documentary or social media, but it
must be something that really happened.
A different topic of discussion could be the power of narratives to connect to others on an emotional level.
