There lived a merchant named Antonio who was a rich and prosperous merchant. He was very proud of his riches and generous with them. Now there came Bassanio, who was Antonio's friend. Bassanio Loved a fair and a beautiful lady named Portia. To travel to Belmont he needed money so he asked his friend Antonio . Since his fortunes are at the sea he said he did not have any money with him . There was a rich moneylender named Shylock . Antonio asked him for they money he gave the money with a good heart but he asked Antonia to sign a agreement that i the did not return his money in 3 months , he can cut any part of the flesh from his body which he choose but Bassanio was so sad and said no need of it but he said within a month all of his hips will come the he signed the agreement . That night shylock's pretty daughter ran from her lover taking away some bags of Ducats and precious stones. Shylock got very angry and sad but one of the news comforts him was Antonio's ships got wrecked . Meanwhile Bassanio had reached Belmont according to her father’s wish; there are 3 boxes in gold, silver and lead and there are some inscriptions written on it . first was the prince of morocco he chose gold and his result was death next came the haughty prince of arragon his result was a fool's head next bassiona cam he chose the lead one and found portia portrait with all the happiness portia gave the ring to bassiona and told him not to lose the ring . Suddenly all the happiness was dashed with sorrows a messenger from the a messenger that Shylock demanded from the duke the fulfilment of the bond so portia take me to the church and make your wife after that she disguised herself and went to the court everyone welcomed her then she said to shylock that the court awards you a pound of antonio’ s flesh but if you spill a drop of antonio’s blood all your blood shall be forfeited to the state now he became so tensed ad said give my three thousand ducats and i will let him go . the tables were turned without showing any favor. The money lent half of his property to the state and the other half to his daughter and her husband .But Bassiono losted the ring which was given by portia to bassanio. On his return to belmont he confessed but she seemed so angry and voved she would not be friends with him she had the ring she said that she was the one who disguised herself and went into the court . Portia had forgiven bassiona and lead a happy life.
