The United States government has proposed building a canal through Delaware connecting the Delaware River and the Chesapeake Bay. Imagine you are either a farmer who opposes the canal being built because why should your tax money go to something that won’t benefit you in New Jersey. Or a businessman, who supports the canal because it will save time on his trip and therefore cost less money.
Either write a letter or make a speech (recorded) on why you support the construction of this canal to present to your legislatures.
