Yes i believe it is, mainly because of the time we live in now, everyone from around the world is traveling, as well as getting new oppurtunities, so i believe it is important for children to learn other languages, it opens new doors that used to be closed, it allows them to communicate and bond with others who aren't of there nationallity. It can also just be helpful in general when traveling to a new place cause you can understand everything in the place your at. It also helps to educate and share other people's culture and ideas, all through a single language! (people also learn more complicated things such as musical instruments and languages when their younger so its more beneficial for them to learn these things at a younger age compared to when there older).
