What do you think these young people were called to “believe”? (extra points) Text:

Last spring, five friends left the suburbs of Toronto. They had long since planned a week's camping in a forested and wilderness area in the north of the province. After a day, they met an old Native American who, knowing the area very well, introduced them to the secrets of the forest; within a few days, and very patiently, he taught them how to feed, shelter and protect themselves from wild animals while respecting them and preserving their habitat. The five friends lived exciting moments with him and made wonderful discoveries. They had a lot of fun and gained a lot of new knowledge.

But it wasn't until they returned home that they realized how much this meeting had transformed them all. When they were asked to describe their experience, they naturally talked about their adventures and explained some of the survival skills they had learned. But they were not satisfied with their own stories... Something was missing. It was only after they thought about it that they found out what it was. Each of the members of the small team had just understood that the old Amerindian had taught them much more than the laws of survival in the forest. Through him, they had discovered solidarity, loyalty and perseverance. Having been able to detect the qualities proper to each one, he had given them real responsibilities. He had given them confidence in themselves. Better still, he had made everyone's talents bear fruit for the benefit of all.

Aware of the benefits of this meeting, they felt happier, more autonomous, but also more permeable to the need to support and help each other. They wanted to write a letter to their guide. But he had not given any address... They understood that the best way to show their gratitude to their friend was to tell their comrades what they had experienced. They tried to pass on to others what they had learned about nature, about human beings, about the relationship that must exist between people and animals. From this relationship of a few days with the old man, they kept a deep wisdom. Engraved in the depths of their hearts, it now accompanies them everywhere, even in their most daily activities in the heart of the city

Which part of this excerpt from john keats' poem "endymion" contains a simile? therefore, 'tis with full happiness that i will trace the story of endymion. the very music of the name has gone into my being, and each pleasant scene is growing fresh before me as the green of our own vallies: so i will begin now while i cannot hear the city's din; now while the early budders are just new, and run in mazes of the youngest hue about old forests; while the willow trails its delicate amber; and the dairy pails bring home increase of milk. and, as the year grows lush in juicy stalks, i'll smoothly steer my little boat, for many quiet hours, with streams that deepen freshly into bowers.
