telemachus sets out on a quest to find information about his well-renowned father he seeks out information about his father’s whereabouts from friends of his father with athena, disguised in various forms throughout the journey. first telemachus journeys to pylos to ask nestor, king of pylos, about odysseus. along the way, telemachus witnessed the sacrifice of 12 bulls and athena gave him courage to publically speak to nestor.
