Well, I think that reading fictional books can be very good because first, it help with creativity. Kids when they are younger are encouraged to be creative in their own special ways, so fictional books help improve that to the people who aren't very creative. It also can take you through a path of thoughtful thinking. Of example I just finished reading The Giver and this book made me think what would it be like of I wasn't able to see any colors, not be able to make my own choice, and being the same as everyone else. Because of this, it made me appreciate this great world I am living in right now. As a child my mom was very harsh on me. She told me to read only non-fiction books because they are very educational. However, as am growing up I am now turning 12 and I am the least creative in my class. I should have been reading fantasies and more, but I read educational books. Even though non-fiction books aren't bad, fiction books help the human mind become more bright and help bring crazy ideas to life. After, reading a few fiction books my life has been great. Fiction books are the main reason why I love reading. They give me hope, entertainment, and inspiration. I have grew from a foolish child to a mature adult and I give a big thanks to fiction books.
