Dear Property Manager: My dog Buster and I have lived in your apartment complex for two years now, and I have greatly enjoyed this property. The apartment has a fantastic layout, great modern appliances, and plenty of space for Buster and me. I am very grateful that you allow me to keep Buster in the apartment, and Buster is grateful, too. The advertisements for this property said that it was a pet-friendly complex, and it is pet-friendly. However, it would be even more pet-friendly if you built a dog park for Buster and his friends on the property.

Buster and the other dogs that live at this property have to stay on a leash whenever they go outside. This deprives them of the opportunity to play fetch, practice tricks, or just run around with one another. For example, Buster loves to catch Frisbees, but we have been unable to play since we moved in here. The dogs never get to just go outside and be themselves. In my opinion, that makes the property less pet-friendly.

In addition to depriving the dogs of their play time, the lack of a dog park also keeps them from getting enough exercise. This poses a serious health risk for Buster and all the other dogs on the property. If there were a designated area for dogs to be off their leashes outside, the dogs would get to run around more often. They would be healthier and happier as a result.

The best part about building a dog park is that it would make your property more attractive to potential tenants. For a reasonable price, you could assure people that their pets would be happy here. Therefore, they would want to live here, and they might even be willing to pay more per month for their pets' happiness. All you would have to do is fence in an area on the property and post signs reminding people to clean up after their pets. Buster and I thank you for considering our proposal.

Sincerely,

Ted Johnson
