In the story Orpheus and Eurydice by Betty Bonham Lies, it starts off with Orpheus falling for Eurydice and becoming her husband. Sadly not even an hour into the wedding, Eurydice had been bitten and killed by a snake. The now furious and grieving widow, could not live without his soulmate. He set out for the underworld to retrieve his wood nymph Eurydice. Orpheus had arrived to the Realm of Death bringing with him his lyre and a broken heart. There were a few obstacles but when his music was played so beautifully, he had no problem getting to King Hades. He begged Hades to bring back his love as her time was not over yet, and he agreed, but on one condition. Orpheus would be able to have his wife back as long as he did not look back to
