read the following sentences to discover which one is active and which one is passive :
1- Sara eat an apple .
2- The apple is eaten​

Active voice emphasizes the person or agent who performs an action, in short, the “actor" while the passive voice emphasizes the recipient of the action or sometimes the action itself.

Example 1 is an active voice

Example 2 is a passive voice

both the address and the poster use diction to convey their message. diction is defined as a style of writing or speaking based on the types of words chosen in order to send a message. parallelism is when a similar sentence structure is used for several sentences on a text; roosevelt's address doesn't follow that. repetition has to do with repeating a word or sentence in order to emphasize and idea, however neither the poster nor the address use repetion. finally, the address doesn't use images to convey a message.

in   ¨and yet the books¨   by czelaw miloz the tone is positive since it tells us that when we touch a book, it starts to live and the perspective is in the third person and turns once into the first person. in "the rhinoceros" by eugene ionesco the tone is illogical and absurd   and the perspective is in the third person since it is a play.
