Read It! Reid Stowe loved the ocean. He dreamed of a long sea voyage. In 2007, Stowe got his chance. He and a friend packed their sailboat with supplies. They would not land for 1,000 days. They left New Jersey on April 21. The voyage was not easy. On day 305, Stowe's friend got off. She was not feeling well. But Stowe kept sailing. On June 17, 2010, he docked in New York City.
