Calpurnia took the kids to her black church in chapter 12. But once they were there, Lula protested why there were white kids in a black church. Considering the racial situation in Maycomb, Lula's concern in having a white person among them was a concerning situation. Blacks were targeted and looked down upon. So, it is only obvious that she will be wary of having whites in the church. Moreover, the racial disparity between the whites and the blacks plays a major role in the story.

Though we know that Cal brought the kids because she felt it's her duty to keep them safe and occupied even on her off days, taking them to a black church seems too much of an act to be done. Though it was done with an innocent objective, there can always be others who would be offended by the act.
