Consider how the individual perspectives create conflict amonst the neighbors in The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street and the way in which these conflicts inform the theme of the selection. Write a narrative in which you incorporate details from the teleplay to retell a critical part of the story, such as a single scene, from the point of view of one of the characters within the drama.

Your narrative should include dialogue, description, and details and be from the perspective of only one character in the teleplay. You should choose a scene or scenes that are significant to that character as well as to the plot of the drama itself. Include a reflection in which your character thinks about (or talks about) what role he or she has played in the conflict.
