"I stepped cautiously, one step at a time, and peeked over to see the dead spider. Just then, I realized how tiny the spider was in comparison to me. My heart rate slowed, and I was able to resume regular breathing. I grabbed a napkin and swept up the spider and put it in the trashcan. Days later, and I was able to resume my normal activities. I went back to working out in my basement and picking apples from my backyard. I felt more relieved and so proud of myself for overcoming this fear."
