Start out with finding a good quote that can be applied to an event in your life. maybe talk to your family and see if they can talk about the event from their perspective

Well I can't help you with what topic you want to write about your life but it should start of with How it happened? Why was it so important? But once you change into your second paragraph you should add Furthermore or For example etc..
