In that way, Rosencratz and Guildenstern spy on Hamlet and they also accept to deliver an envelope with orders to send Hamlet to England. Moreover, Hamlet knows he cannot trust on them. In that way, he rewrites the letter inside the envelope and tells the executioner to kill Rosencratz and Guildenstern instead. Therefore, Hamlet lets Rosencratz and Guildenstern to die. In that sense, Hamlet acts similarly to Claudius, who murdered his own brother.
