How you experienced being devastated by a strong typhoon? an earthquake? a tsunami? how did you feel then?

I have experienced this through imagination, movies and news; fortunately never through my own reality.

The fact of feeling devastation, and sadness when thinking about a strong typhoon or tsunami, after seeing a news, a movie or having a bad dream, I’d call it empathy. Empathy helps you understand other people’s feelings, even when you have not shared their experiences.
