Well I know I am a bit late on this question but this may be a good thing to remember. When it comes to Samsung's phones, Samsung offers some pretty good hardware that iPhone's don't. Example: the newest Samsung phone have a bigger battery life.

The newest s10+ has a 4,100 mAh battery size while the iPhone Xs Max only has a 3,174 mAh battery complicity. So depending on what the resolution is set to on the s10 (720p, 1080p, or 1440p resolution) the phone will last a good 3 hours longer than an iPhone would.

Another thing Samsung has to offer is more storage and RAM. The newest s10+ offers a eternal memory spand starting from 128GB-1TB of memory (1TB equivalates to 1,000GBs with a micro sd slot expandable to 1.5TB of memory) and if you get the 128gb, 256gb, or 512gb, you get 8G RAM while the 1TB option offers 12GB RAM while all the storage models on the iPhone Xs MAX from 64GB - 512GB only offer 4GB RAM so you can count on your Samsung to effortlessly multitask and leave heavy game pre loaded once you open that app in the background.

Samsung is also more customizable and has some cool features that the iPhone doesn't have hardware wise and OS wise. Like, the s10+ still has a headphone jack with a water and dust resistant of IP68 for 1.5 meters underwater for 30 minutes, you can change resolution in the settings to save battery, super fast 5G, we still have a headphone jack, we have a super sonic 3d in-display fingerprint scanner, 2d face unlock, iris scanner, pin, pattern, and password. We have multitasking, more camera options such as ultra wide 16MB pictures, 4k 30fps on the front main dual camera, a 960fps super slo-mo rear camera, and more. iPhones still might have features you may like, like 3D touch, airmojis, a more secure 3D face unlock face unlock, iMessage games, easier to connect with other apple devices, or more offers when it comes to portrait mode for the front facing camera.

Samsung also offers quicker charging. If you buy the newest Samsung device, they will include a quick Type-C 15 watt charger in the box while Apple only includes a 5 watt charger in the box, but you can buy a 12 Watt fast lighting cable charger desperately with your iPhone. So you can charge your phone quicker and it will last longer.

And as for pricing. Samsung actually sells more expensive phones if you buy the newest s10+ with 1TB of memory. It will have to cost you $1,600 if you get the phone unlocked. While the iPhone xs MAX is $1,450.

Conclusion: If you want a phone for it's hardware, battery size, memory size, best display, resolution, RAM, expandable memory, headphone jack, a higher resolution camera with a couple extra modes that apple doesn't have yet, then go for Samsung.

If you wan't an iPhone for it's design, good looks, security, better put in apps, Facetime, iMessage games, more portrait modes for your selfie camera, and just to show off in general, then get the iPhone.

One more thing to note is that don't listen to people that always say Androids blow up when the only phone that went viral for blowing up was the Galaxy Note 7 back in 2016. And don't worry, an iPhone 7 and iPhone Xs MAX blew up as well after an IOS 12 update.
