In my opinion, the correct answer is B. Enter to him BERNARDO. Stage directions are author's comments that are supposed to instruct the actors to move or do a certain action that isn't evident from what they say. In this case, Bernardo is not present on stage from the beginning of the scene, but is supposed to enter when the scene begins.
