Do you think that north american culture contributes to environmental issues? why or why not?

I do not have doubts that American culture contributes to environmental issues. The great and mass use of coal pullutes the environment, gas emissions of cars, the use of plastic, greenhouse emissions and specially, all those gasses that factories release everyday to the air, in addition to the great explosions that took place in factories in the past and pulluted even the sea with petrol leading to the extintion of some species.

Environmental issues in the United States include climate change, energy, species conservation, invasive species, deforestation, mining, nuclear accidents, pesticides, pollution, waste and over-population.
