Ok so to write an argumentative essay you first have to choose a side and in this topic i would be for it because controlled burning kills off dead and dry and decaying undergrowth and the ash leftover adds nutrients to the soil so
step 1
Pick a side
step 2
do research about the side you have chosen to write for 
step 3
start writing tell the reader why your side is the one to be chosen 
step 4 
write your body paragraphs 
step 5
write your conclusion refer back to the body paragraphs restate statements made in them that will push your point 
and that is how to write an argumentative essay.
