Why isn't the monkey king allowed to attend the party with the other deities

Because one time when he get's angry he was causing extreme chaos at the party. Not sure

Only after Jin's and Danny's stories do we return to the Monkey King, only to start the same  turn of the book, go to the "Detailed Chapter-by-Chapter Plot Summary" and have at it. He wants to become a god and hang out with all the other gods and  So at a party that he's crashed he starts a fight with one of the gods.

substitute y = 2x - 4 to x + 2y = 12:

x + 2(2x - 4) = 12     use distributive property

x + (2)(2x) + () = 12

x + 4x - 8 = 12     add 8 to both sides

5x = 20     divide both sides by 5

x = 4

put the value of x to the first equation:

y = 2(4) - 4

y = 8 - 4

y = 4

answer: x = 4 and y = 4
