Why is important to use credible sources as student and as a healthcare professional?

If you do not get the sources or information especially as a health care professional the patients are going to complain and then you will get fired or written up. 
as a student say you are writting a paper and you put the wrong website the teacher is going to knock off some big points especially if you are in college.
