Assignment background: In chapter 5 of To Kill a Mockingbird, Jem and Dill want to give Boo a note. Their intentions are not to disturb him but to sate their curiosity of the town’s mysterious man and get him to come outside.

Instructions:
Write your own letter to Boo Radley below. Use correct grammar and sentence structure and include ALL five parts of a letter (see Canvas page).
Pretend you’re a citizen of Maycomb in the 1930s. (You might refer back to the context in the 30.2 Context, Map, Glossary module for accuracy.)
Share a few things about yourself that he might like to hear. (Remember, you’re trying to be kind to him.)
Express your curiosity about some of the things from chapters 1-5 that you’ve heard about him. Consider letting him know how you feel about those rumors or suspicions. (Again, you’re trying to be kind to him.)
Invite him to meet you somewhere specific (refer to the Maycomb map) OR to write you back.
