The hint is right after the word cease. It say will it cease, or will he continue believing him. It told the opposite of cease of cease. It said will he continue believing him, or will he ever cease the things he found online. Meaning that since it said or, it means it is comparing things, so he is comparing what cease means, and the opposite of it means. Sorry if its confusing, I did not know how to explain it well. -_-
