I think the storm is here. The wind is so loud that I am awakened from my sleep at 4 a. m. I can hear the wind racing fiercely around the house. The house is standing its ground against the wind's force. The window panes are whistling as the wind finds little air pockets to climb through. I guess my dad will need to seal those up once the storm passes. Climbing out of bed, I go to the window to look outside. I can see the branches of the old oak trees in our front yard trying to steady themselves against the wind. Some of the branches have been snapped and lay in piles on the ground. The flowers in my mom's flower garden are not able to withstand the wind which succeeds in plucking all the petals off and scattering them on the lawn. All of my mom's efforts at having a well-manicured lawn have been destroyed. I can see that my family will have a huge mess to clean up after the storm passes. The lawns of the neighboring homes look just as bad as ours. Which sentence from the passage above makes something seen human?
