I'm honestly not sure if this fits in this subject (concerning debating), but here goes: When debating, if the other team has an argument or rebuttal that you or a teammate will address in their written speech later, is it in your best interests to rebut now or wait until your/your teammate's argument?

If rebutting now, should you/your teammate still state your/their argument later or have it cut out completely?

If waiting until your/your teammate's argument later on, should you say something like "I/My teammate will address this in their speech" even if that topic isn't brought up a lot later on in the debate?

Both ways might make you lose points on Matter... is there a better way?
