Tessie pushed her body forward, faster. As she burst across the finish line, she heard her teammates let out a roar. She looked at the clock. Not only had she won the event, she had set a new school record! How does the narrator’s point of view affect how events are described? A. We are told what the other runners think about Tessie.
B. We learn about the race from a first-person point of view.
