HELPP ITS DUE IN LIKE 10 MINUTES HELP. We’ve taken a look at the week in news and now it’s time for you to reflect. Our essential question this unit is: What inspires people to TAKE ACTION to improve their world?

Which story was the most compelling to you? Why? WHat would cause you to take action in your own community?

gandhi's the story of my experiments with truth puts us in the first person. this allows us to really understand the characters and feel like we are living within the story. if it was in third person we may have felt as if we were just watching the story unfold. since it is in first person it allows us the opportunity to feel as if we really are a part of the story.

edmund spenser and john bunyan also influenced hawthorne. : )
