Honeybees are some of the most amazing animals on our planet. They live in colonies and can be found all over the world (Blackiston, p.13). The reason it sounds as if they are buzzing is because their wings beat 11,000 times per minute (pestworldforkids. org, 2018)! They are our only source of honey. However, climate change is causing bees to die (Soroye, Newbold, and Kerr, 2020).
