Dr. Stetson's adventure began when he was shipwrecked in a strange
place. He was somewhere where nothing was familiar. Although he
was an expert scientist, he had never seen plants like the ones in this
place. Even the weather was unusual. When Dr. Stetson finally
encountered the natives, he could not understand their language. They
seemed friendly, but he doubted they could help him get home.
