Item 5 Read the excerpt from “Choose a Sunscreen Right for Reefs.”

Coral reefs are vital to the earth’s overall health. They are home to a vast variety of sea life. Plants and animals ranging from the simplest kinds of algae to some of the earth’s most unusual and amazing fish live in and around coral reefs. Reefs are really beautiful, too, and they can even protect people from dangerous waves headed to shore. So it’s important to protect them. Buying reef-safe sunscreen is an easy, inexpensive way to do the right thing. So think about that the next time you’re headed to the beach, and be sure to take good care of both your body and your planet.
