Anne Frank Figurative language

The hyperbole is “chased” in the text. Anne explains how she’s jealous of Peter because he has his own room. The use of the word “chased” suggests that Anne felt like she did not have time to do what she wanted, which was to be herself. It also suggests that Anne wanted more independence/alone time.

Not sure if there was any sort of picture or something to go along with this but my guess is the book went into deep depth and was very informative.
