One shouldn't mistake the beginning with the end. There may be a plot twist that just creates the beginning of a story and you may mistake the story ending before you read the rest and miss some of the important details. Some also mistake the end with the beginning and that is also not good because if you're at the end, you're at the end and if you think its the beginning you'll be stuck with on a cliff with no way of knowing the rest even though there is no rest of the story. However, mistaking the beginning for the end can be bad, it can be good also. For instance, if one mistakes the beginning for the end they can create a beginning on their own which can boost creativity skills and gain more imagination.
