These studies have also shown that the higher levels of carbon dioxide are partly the result of the decreasing forests. The trees in forests absorb carbon monoxide in the air. But forests are being chopped down to make paper products. To decrease the loss of forest areas and carbon dioxide levels, we should recycle paper products.
