Write a brief prospectus for paper #3. In about 1 nice full page or two, typed, double-spaced, explain 1) the proposed topic of the next paper, 2) why you are interested, why it matters to you, 3) what's your thesis, and 4) what are the main reasons you think your thesis is true, and why your reader should believe it too, finally, 5) who might disagree with you and what fairly decent reasons for disagreement might they have. One way to think of this is as a kind of planning document for the paper. Also, it will allow me to comment on the suitability of the topic and on the thesis before you start really writing the paper.
