Being a critic, my main goal when responding to another writer's poem is majorly to constructively criticize the writer's poem and suggests an area of improvement such as what the writer needs to remove from the poem and also provide suggestions of the likely lines he could incorporate to make his poem look and sound better to the reader/listener.
