In Act III, Scene II of Romeo and Juliet, what does Juliet first think has happened when the Nurse enters distraught?

She thinks that Romeo is dead and assumes that he killed himself.

Explanation:

The Nurse rushes in with the news of the fight between Romeo and Tybalt. She is so distraught that she begins stumbling over her words and makes it sound like Romeo has killed himself, and then resigns herself to die. She begins to moan about Tybalt's death. Juliet then fears that Romeo and Tybalt are both dead. Later Juliet understands that Romeo killed Tybalt and is sentenced to exile she then curses nature and that it should be put "the spirit of a fiend" in Romeo's "sweet flesh"
