their evil intentions toward
each other and then later
their good intentions, each
time they are about to carry
out their intentions,
A. they lose their nerve and give up.
B. something does interlope -- nature (the
tree falls between them, the wolves
come).
C. they change their minds and go back to
their previous thinking.
