You would make peace with them by talking to them and getting to know them, open up with them and try to find who they are. Slowly, you'll realize that the tension that was there before is now gone! My most difficult thing to live with is my Roommate (Again, change this to whatever your most difficult thing is). They are messy, and kind of rude. To fix this I will talk to my roommate and why they leave the house, dorm, etc, like this. I will listen to their reasoning and tell them that although I (You, the one reading this) mostly do everything, there needs to be some mutual labor here. After this conversation you may notice that the said house is now cleaner, and your roommate is nicer, now that you gotten to know them as the barrier between two stranger is kind of hard to fix.
