Write a proposal in a letter format to the school administrators requesting a change to a policy that affects you as a
student, such as

• School Schedule (start/stop times)
NOTE
This is a subjective explanation in which you describe the problem you intend to address and what you hope to
accomplish by fixing it. Describe in detail the significance of the problem and provide supporting facts and
evidence.

(1) introduction and/or background of the problem,
(2) proposed solution using rhetorical devices (ethos, logos, pathos), and
