Use the passages to complete the activity. Argument 1: All schools should require students to wear school uniforms. School uniforms help to create an identity for students and a school. They show respect for the learning environment and for the students. Most importantly, school uniforms eliminate the distractions and differences that other clothing may highlight, creating unity among the students.

Argument 2: No school should require students to wear school uniforms. Clothing choice is a way for students to express themselves and be seen as individuals. Buying the school uniform can become expensive and not all families will have extra money for the uniforms. Most importantly, requiring school uniforms does not increase the amount of information that students can learn.

In one to two sentences, explain which argument is more convincing based on the evidence that is emphasized in the excerpt.
