where are the questions?

first of all, what is green literature or ecocriticism? now, don't report this, saying that i am plagiarizing, but i did get this defenition from google, because i too had to look up the defenition. ecocriticism or green literature, "is the study of literature and the environment from an interdisciplinary point of view, where literature scholars analyze texts that illustrate environmental concerns and examine the various ways literature treats the subject of nature." that being said, to summarize that, it means that the passages must both be talking similarly about an environmental issue, while also addressing the issue. the first passage talks about having to build their subways more down underground because of sewer lines. the second passage talks about, due to erosion, half of iceland's topsoil was carried into the ocean. so to sum these two up, they both have something to do with soil.

its not a because they are solving the issue, not creating more consequences. b is not correct because no where did they mention coal to being an alternative. d is incorrect because, though the ocean did cause a problem in the second passage, water and gravity have nothing to do with the first passage.

answer is c) in order meet their goals, environmentalist must people develop a personal desire to protect nature.
