In this discussion, you will respond to a prompt about the strategies you use when reading different texts. Review part of a sample post. When I read something hard, I make a lot of notes. I write down unfamiliar words, note interesting passages, and write down questions I have as I read. I also preview the reading to make sure I am ready to read it. I use different strategies for different types of texts because one strategy does not work for everything. Visualization, for example, is more useful for understanding very descriptive texts than it is in, say, decoding the U. S. Constitution.
