Pretend you are Penelope. Your husband has been gone for seventeen years leaving you to raise your son alone. Not only that but a few years ago suitors showed up demanding your hand in marriage. Now, a reporter has approached you asking you to describe what your life has been like since Odysseus left. (Please answer each question with 3- 5 sentences and in a different color) Interviewer: Hello Penelope! It’s great to be able to sit down and talk with you. Everyone is talking about how strong you have been for the past seventeen years. Tell me where did you get that strength?

Interviewer: Fascinating! Now, your husband has been gone for seventeen years with no word. What will it take for you to believe that he is truly dead?

Interviewer: You have many young wealthy suitors willing to marry you and take care of Ithaca and your son. Why do you continue to refuse them?

Interviewer: What has it been like raising Telemachus on your own for so long?

Interviewer: One last question. If you could say anything to Odysseus right now what would it be?
