How do students with a growth mindset approach school differently than those with a fixed mindset? How does their approach help them in school?

Students with a growth mindset will look at a mistake they made and think, well I messed up, but I can try to do better next time! They may also think that improvement is key to their achievements. Students with a fixed mindset will look at a mistake they made and think man.. I messed up. I’m never good at anything. This can lead to a lower self esteem and less drive compared to a student who has a growth mindset. The student with a growth mindset will more than likely succeed better in school than the student with a fixed mindset due to there factors.
